Music II
Olive is turning four this Tuseday, and there is both too much and too little to say. She's bright, and cheerful, and mischievous, and helpful, and emotional. She's everything that a child should be, and a few things that she knows she shouldn't be.
She's going to receive quite a few birthday presents this year, but the one which took by far the most effort from Christina and I1 is the second custom mix for her Toniebox. She loves music, loves dance, and loves precisely the first three songs from her previous iteration. We're hoping that she loves at least five of this mix.

Last time I put the mix together alone, but this time Christina took a much more active role selecting songs. Is it weird to compete a little with your spouse over the child's musical taste? Even if it is, that appears to be where we've arrived. For now, anyway; in the fullness of time, she'll become a teenager, and inevitably we'll be old and think that her favorite music is unlistenable noise.
