Pete's Dad Blog Thoughts on being a dad

Birthday

I've neglected this blog, unfortunately. Perhaps it's harder to write about a four-year-old than a younger child?

We'll have a direct point of comparison to find out. Pumpkin was born at 3 am precisely on 4 November 2021. Obviously that's not his real name, but as with Olive, we're keeping him pseudonymous on the net.

It might be inevitable that a second child spends their first days defined by their contrasts to the first. Whether or not that's the case, it's happening here.
